Food was AMAZING! Service was stellar. Will 100% be coming back very soon. The limoncello margarita and the frozen espresso martini was delicious! Special shout out to the vodka radiatore, baked clams, and the potato croquets! As a NJ/NY Italian, I approve! Our waitress Darian was so lovely and made great recommendations!

Pelato is my new favorite spot in town! The atmosphere is very nice, but with a casual comfortable feel to it. I dined with my three friends and between the three of us we almost tried just about everything on the menu. I don’t have a bad thing to say about any of the dishes, it was all amazing. Our waiter, Caleb, was great as well! He did an amazing job coursing out our dishes and not rushing us at all - which I really appreciated. Pelato is definitely going to do great here and I’m excited to go back. I’ve already booked my next reservation.

Great spot, loved our food! Server was on his second day but did fine. He was very nice definitely recommend the vodka sauce it was delicious! Also try the Brooklyn style calamari and cacio e Pepe!

Truly exceptional! As an Italian, I have high standards when it comes to food and I can confidently say this was the real deal! Every dish was delicious and authentically prepared, just like back home. The staff was warm and welcoming! I can’t wait to return 10/10

Easily the best Italian in Charleston! The food was amazing - our favorite being the chicken parm. Service was top notch and such a good vibe. We will definitely be back!

From my phone conversation to reserve a table I knew I would love this place!! The female was so sweet and accommodating!! We were surprised to find out that they just opened for business about a month ago because the service was excellent, every one smiling and attentive. Haley was our server and she was very sweet and professional! But the best part was the FOOD!!!!!! OMG! Best Italian food I’ve had since moving to SC from NJ! The chicken parm was perfect as well as the fried calamari, meatballs the homemade macaroni with pesto and fresh peas, tomato and fresh mozzarella and balsamic was crazy delicious!! I can’t wait to go back!!

I am blown away by the food, service and atmosphere here! As our server recommended, we got the broccolini and it was incredible. The ravioli was definitely my favorite pasta dish. The frozen espresso martini was insanely good. You can tell that the servers genuinely enjoy their job and have a great knowledge of the menu, even though they haven’t even had an official opening yet! I would recommend this to anyone hoping to find a more upscale Italian vibe in Charleston with a great patio.

I recently dined at Pelato’s in Charleston, and it was an amazing experience! Despite being a walk-in on a very full booking night (they’re fully booked for weeks ahead), the staff was incredibly accommodating. The service was exceptional, especially thanks to our fantastic waiter, James Q, who was incredibly attentive and gave us excellent recommendations. The drinks were spot on, the pasta was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was cooked to perfection , crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in town just make a reservation if you can!
